Dr. Joanne Davson Sterling
TAC Sr. Medical Director and Board Certified Family Medicine Physician

Dr. Davson Sterling is the clinic’s Medical Director and one of its founding members. Her area of specialty is family practice. Dr. Sterling believes everyone, regardless of economic status, should have access to good health care. She is fully dedicated to providing free health care and prescriptions for the uninsured through the clinic. In addition to her duties with Three Angels Clinic, she works full-time at Florida Hospital.


Dr. Davson Sterling is currently employed full time with Florida Hospital Health Care System, which is part of the Seventh-day Adventist Health Care System. Florida Hospital is one of the largest privately owned and operated faith-based health care providers in the United States.

Dr. Davson Sterling completed her residency training at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, New York.  Throughout her medical training, she volunteered at multiple free medical clinics and participated in the medical care of migrant farm workers, the homeless and the working poor.

Dr. Sterling has a particular interest in health promotion and disease prevention, especially for people who are uninsured. This interest lead her to co-found Three Angels Clinic.

Kevin Barrett
TAC Chairman, Treasurer and Respiratory Therapist

Kevin Barrett is the co-founder of Three Angels clinic. He is the also the clinic’s chairman and currently serves as its treasurer. Kevin is a Certified Respiratory Therapist and has worked in the medical profession for over 25 years. He fervently believes our communities are made stronger when more people have access to quality health care, and to that end, he is thrilled to be able to bring free medical care to the people of Ocala.


Kevin Barrett is the committee Chairman & Treasurer for Three Angels Clinic. He is an experienced Florida State Board Certified Respiratory Therapist. He has a Masters in Organization Management, a Bachelors in Business Administration and an Associate Science in Respiratory Therapy degree. In 2013, he was the recipient of the University of Phoenix’s Community Silver Service Award. He received an appreciation award from the state State Board for Respiratory Care for his valuable service to the citizens of Florida.
In 2009, Kevin was appointed by governor Charlie Crist to the Florida State Board For Respiratory Care. His appointment term ended under Governor Rick Scott in August 2013.
Kevin believes in following Christ’s example of ministering to the sick through healing. Kevin is the co-founder of Three Angels Clinic.
Marlene Williams
TAC Chaplain, Lay Pastor for Marion Oaks SDA Church, and Nursing Assistant
Marlene Williams is the clinic’s Chaplain. She is also the Lay Pastor for Marion Oaks S.D.A Church. Marlene is an active volunteer at Munroe Regional Medical Center providing pastoral care services to patients there. She knows what a blessing having access to free health care and spiritual counseling can make in someone’s life. Marlene’s prayer is to bring people to the knowledge of God and his love for mankind. Her goal is to meet the spiritual needs and give hope and assurance to those who have given up faith in themselves and in God. Marlene wants people to know that God is the best friend and healer they can ever hope to have.


Marlene Williams the Chaplain for Three Angels Clinic. She is also the Lay Pastor for Marion Oaks S.D.A. Church. Marlene works diligently alongside the senior pastor and church elders to help others. Marlene presently volunteers at Munroe Regional Medical Center doing pastoral care along with the Head Chaplain there. She is also a retired Nurse Tech. Marlene has many years of physician’s office practice management experience. Lay Pastor Williams experience in healthcare spans more than a decade. She is a valuable member of our team.
