Kevin Barrett Ph.D., CRT
TAC Chairman Executive, and Administrator

Dr. Kevin Barrett Ph.D., is one of the co-founders of Three Angels clinic. He fervently believes that our communities are “stronger” when more people have access to quality healthcare, and to that end, he is thrilled to be able to bring free medical care to the people of Ocala.

Biography

Kevin Barrett Ph.D., CRT is the Chairman Executive & Administrator for Three Angels Clinic. He also serves as an experienced (plus actively licensed) Florida State Board Certified Respiratory Therapist at the community clinic (whenever he is available). His personal accomplishments in education includes a Doctor of Philosophy, a Masters in Organization Management, a Bachelors in Business Administration and an Associate Science in Respiratory Therapy degree. In 2013, he was the recipient of the University of Phoenix’s Community Silver Service Award. He received an appreciation award from the State Board for Respiratory Care for his valuable service to the citizens of Florida.
In 2009, Kevin was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist to the Florida State Board For Respiratory Care. His appointment term ended under Governor Rick Scott in August 2013.
Kevin believes in following Christ’s example of ministering to the sick through healing. Kevin is the co-founder of Three Angels Clinic.
Dr. Franco Diaz
TAC Medical Director
Dr. Diaz is the clinic’s Medical Director. Dr. Diaz is very committed to helping our patients living in the Ocala area achieve better health outcomes by providing them access to health care.

Biography

Dr. Diaz practiced medicine for 46 years in New Jersey. He is licensed to practice medicine in Florida and New Jersey. He recently retired to Florida with his wife to play golf (he says with a smile). The good doctor, who loves medicine (and which still runs in his veins), elected and searched out our clinic. He told us, he wanted to serve and give back to our community through Three Angels Clinic. Patients enjoy his smile and his delightful conversations with them, while he attends to their personal medical needs. Dr. Diaz also served in one of the branches of the United States Armed Forces (many years ago). We thank Dr. Diaz very much for his service to the nation.

Sherry Roberts RN
TAC Director of Clinical Services
Sherry is very involved in healthcare related matters in Marion County. She is equally dedicated and invested as a TAC volunteer and also as a member of the board of directors for the clinic.

Biography

Sherry Roberts has worked in the medical profession, in Marion County, for over 40 years. She has served as a nurse’s aide caring for the elderly, as a registered nurse tending to pediatric patients and as an admitting nurse working her skills to place patients in appropriate areas for their best interest. She understands and also knows the complex world of health care. Caring for others and also looking for ways to make a small difference in someone’s life seems to have always been driving factors in her life.
Some of Sherry’s proudest moments have come from such ordinary things as being a wife, mommy, grandma, 4-H leader and a Sunday school teacher.
Sherry’s personal involvement with the Three Angels Clinic evolved by way of the Michelle-O-Gram which provides breast exams for local individuals. The Michelle-O-Gram needed physician orders for the exams and the Clinic needed a way to assist their clients and that is how our relationship began three years ago. When the Chairman Executive asked Sherry to serve in this capacity, we were blessed when she agreed to be the clinic’s director. There was no better person well suited for the task of over-seeing the aspects of day-to-day clinical services.
She trusts the Lord will continue to bless ALL those who come for care, ALL the caregivers and ALL the volunteers who bless us with their time and service.

Fanasha Gonzalez
TAC Office Coordinator and Lead Scheduler
Fanasha Gonzalez is “focus driven” to make a difference in every patients life that she meets and connects with at the clinic. Compassion and commitment to service does define this young leader at our clinic.

Biography

Fanasha Gonzalez is the Office Coordinator and Lead Scheduler for Three Angels Clinic. She is key to the operations and administrative successes at the clinic. She started out 100% as a volunteer at Three Angels Clinic. As she grew dedicated to her time and heart to serving others, Three Angels Clinic found a gem in her being on the team. She is now in an every evolving paid position at the clinic. Fanasha was raised in a small town in Hoboken, NJ. She has the heart of a true volunteer. She started her volunteer work at Saint Mary’s Hospital as a transporter for patients. Fanasha is also involved in medical missions to other countries. She has been to Haiti, The Dominican Republic, Kenya, and Tanzania. Doing what Jesus called us to do which is “Taking Care of My People” is her belief. Having lost her beloved sister in 2016 for not having health insurance – is a “sobering” and “powerful” testimony for giving back unconditionally to others in need of primary health care services and have no insurance coverage. Fanasha’s personal mission is to help one person at a time. She enjoys travel, spending time with her family, and restoring the people spirits showing God’s Love. Fanasha is also fluent in Spanish and a necessary team member as we serve Spanish speaking patients also.
